Costa Rica has recently removed the barriers for competition in the Internet and Telecommunications services. So far, we have advised internet start-ups and companies on intellectual property, tax matters, corporate structure and governance, employee benefits, executive and consultant compensation packages, consolidation of strategic alliances with energy and public telecommunications operators within the previous regulatory framework, as well as in the processes of selling services to these operators.
